IRA QUALIFIED CHARITABLE DISTRIBUTIONS

If you are over 70 ½ years old, you may give any amount (up to a maximum of $105,000) this year from your IRA directly to Vine Maple Place which helps reduce your taxable income.  If you are required to take minimum distributions, you can use your gift to satisfy all or part of your obligation. This popular gift option is commonly called the IRA charitable rollover, but you may also see it referred to as a qualified charitable distribution, or QCD for short.

LEGACY GIFT

of Ending Homelessness

When you make a legacy gift through your estate, your planned gift will provide care and support to moms and kids ensuring they get off the street, ending generational homelessness. In addition, you or your heirs may receive various financial advantages, including significant tax benefits.

  • Include Vine Maple Place in your will or living trust:  See sample Gift-In-Will language.
  • Designate Vine Maple Place as a beneficiary of your IRA, 401(k), bank or investment account, or other assets or life insurance.
  • Create a charitable remainder trust: Your irrevocable trust will make payments to you or other beneficiaries for your lifetime or a specified term, after which Vine Maple Place receives the remainder.
